Cobalt Sulphate

Cobalt sulphate (CoSO₄.7H₂O) is a product used in a wide range of applications including the manufacture of pigments, magnets and animal feed and also in the metal treatment industry. This range of products has a cobalt content of 20–24%.

Available Grades

Technical Grade (TG)
This grade has low impurities that allows for use in a wide range of applications. Applications that include the production of magnetic film media, magnets and pigments and the metal treatment industry.

Feed Grade (FG)
This grade has low levels of Cd, Pb, As and Hg for Animal Feed Applications. Shepherd is a FEMAS approved manufacturer and has approval for corresponding certifications in various EU countries for the manufacture and supply of Animal Feed products.

Solution Grade (Soln TG)
A technical grade cobalt sulphate solution, which has been specially formulated with low impurities for a wide range of applications. Applications that include the production of magnetic film media, magnets and pigments and the metal treatment industry. This grade has a cobalt content of 7.8–8.9%.
